About Us

Engineers Without Borders is an organization that helps create a more stable and prosperous world by addressing people's basic human needs by providing necessities such as clean water, power, sanitation and education.

The objective of the University of Utah chapter of Engineers Without Borders is to:
  • Aid in the establishment and support of project groups whose purpose is to implement and carry on sustainable development projects in the US and abroad;
  • Train members to become future project mentors and leaders;
  • Involve and educate the local community about issues related to this Chapter and EWB-USA;
  • Promote and foster ideas and projects related to sustainable development in a manner consistent with the objectives or EWB-USA.
